Our story continues at a small apartment. A few seconds pass and Mikuru walks into the apartment stretching.

She had just returned from working at a bar for her part time job and today was special because it was her birthday. "Man, 22 and I still have to work on my birthday..." She walks over to sink to get some water till she heard something.

Some strange tapping sound was coming from her bedroom.

Mikuru started to head towards her bedroom holding one of her ninja weapons, soon she kicks the door and jumps into the room till sees someone. "What the hell!?!?!

She sees Gaiaku sitting down in her desk chair waiting for her. "Hey, Mikuru long time no see". says Gaiaku.

"What the hell are you doing?!" She said glaring at him still holding her ninja weapon up just in case.

Gaiaku stands up and says, "I've just come to finish programming you".

"Excuse me?!" She said almost laughing like he was crazy. "Yeah right, you tried that before and you were caught."

"Oh really well...SLEEP!" says Gaiaku. And then the moment he says this Mikuru feels her body becoming limp and extremely sleepy.

Mikuru tries to stay awake but her body gives in and falls asleep laying on the floor.

"Hmph" Gaiaku smirks. He then walks over to her so she could hear him. "Mikuru can you hear me?"Gaiaku asks.

"....yes.." she said in a sleepy voice.

"Good, now when you awaken all your memories will be erased, do you understand?" says Gaiaku.

"...yes.." Then the moment she says this she starts to feel her memories leaving her a little bit.

"Excellent" says Gaiaku. He then leaves, 30 minutes later the doorbell rings awaking her.

Mikuru starts to wake up and goes to answer the door. And she sees Sora "Can I help you?" she asks.

"What, Mikuru are you all right, it's me Sora" says Sora.

"uumm.." She seem confused a little.

"Mikuru come on i'm your boyfriend you could tell me anything" says Sora concerned.

Mikuru just looks confused even more. "Sorry, I don't have a boyfriend."

"What are you saying? Mikuru tell me do you know who you are?" Sora asks.

Mikuru still looks confused again. "ummmm?"

"Damnit just as i feared, ok listen to me your name is Mikuru and i believe your memories have been erased by a demon named Gaiaku." Sora explains

"Huh?" She getting more confused now. "Look can you leave?"

"In your dining room you have a picture of you, me, and all our friends" says Sora.

Mikuru goes into the dining room and looks around for the picture. "What Picture?"

Sora walks into the dining room and points to a picture frame next to her tv.

Mikuru picks up the picture and looks at it. "Sorry, but I never seen this picture before." She said still confused.

"You can't remember it because your memories have been erased, but i know somebody who may be able to help you" says Sora.

"Who?" She asked.

"A hypnotist named Rei, in the past he helped awaken you from a hypnotic trance placed on you by Gaiaku the same person who probably erased your memories" Sora explains.

Mikuru still looks confused and she soon grabs the phone and start to call the police.

But before Mikuru could call Sora punches her in the stomach knocking her out.

Mikuru then falls on to the floor passed out.

"I'm sorry Mikuru but this was the only way you would listen to me" Sora says to himself. He then takes out his phone and dials a number.

"Hey it's me, we've got a situation. Mikuru's lost her memories." Sora says into the phone.

"Yes i believe it is him again" Sora answers into the phone.

"Ok i'll be waiting, oh and tell Shinji he should and get in contact with Rei" says Sora into the phone.

"Alright see you then" Sora says into the phone before hanging up.

Later Mikuru starts to wake up.

Mikuru then looks up and she sees Shinji and Sora. Shinji takes a look at her with a smoke in his hand. "Well, not the best way to have a birthday right Sora?"

"You got that right, sorry Mikuru for having to knock you out like that" says Sora.

Mikuru ws still confused and scared and then she sees someone else comes into the room. "Who are you guys?"

"Their your friends Mikuru" says the man who just walked in. "My name is Rei i'm here to see if i could bring back your memories" says Rei.

She just gives him confused look. "Excuse me?"

Rei turns to Sora and says "I see what you mean Sora, explaining it to her is useless" Rei walks up to Mikuru.

She start to get an uneasy feeling. "What are you going to do?"

"I'm gonna have to hypnotize you" says Rei. He then proceeds to tap her on the forehead making her extremely sleepy.

"what the?" Mikuru was feeling sleepy all of a sudden.

"Ok time to sleep Mikuru" says Rei.

Mikuru 's eyes closed.

"Ok Mikuru think back remember who you are" says Rei.

When Mikuru hears this she immedeately started to remember a little bit.

"The past must return you must remember" says Rei

Mikuru continues to try hard to regain her memories, despite how difficult it is.

"Ok in a moment i'm gonna awaken you from your trance, i will then ask you some questions about your memories you will answer them truthfully do you understand?" Rei asks.

"...yes.."She replied.

"Good now 1,2,3...awaken" says Rei.

Mikuru starts to come around as she glances around the room.

"How do you feel?" Rei asks.

"I'm okay." She said.

"What's your name?" Rei asks.

"Mikuru.." She said. "Well that's a start." Shinji said still taking a smoke.

"Yes it's promising" Rei says to Shinji. "Now Mikuru do you remember who we are?" Rei asks.

Mikuru shakes her head no. "That's not good." Shinji said in worry voice.

"Ok then, can you tell me the last thing you do remember then?" Rei asks.

Mikuru tries to remember what happen but she just can't remember what it was. "Sorry..no."

"Think Mikuru, there has to be something anything will help us figure out what exactly happened" says Rei.

Mikuru tries to remember what happen before she passed out but just couldn't. "I can't..remember anything after that."Shinji looks at Rei for a moment. "What now?"

"Whenever you use hypnosis to uncover memories, the minimum amount of memories that it's possible to uncover are 2 so far i've been able to allow her to remember her name so there's definitely another memory locked up in her head that's been unsealed she just needs to remember." Rei says to Shinji.

"Mikuru do you remember anything about red haired man?"Rei asks.

Mikuru continues to think back and then, suddenly she has flashback of Gaiaku in her bedroom.

"Yeah, he did have red hair." says Mikuru.

"Really where did you see him" Rei asks.

As Mikuru remembers a little bit more. "in my room?" she looked up at them. "but no one was in there."

"I see conflicting memories" Rei says to himself. Rei then turns towards Sora and Shinji. "I'm sorry guys i've done all i could do" Rei says to Sora and Shinji.

Suddenly Sora punches Rei in the face. Seeing this Shinji runs up and restrains Sora.

"Sora! Calm down!" Sora just gave Rei a dirty look as Shinji was holding him tight. "What the hell Rei! You said you can get her to remember everything!" Mikuru was getting scared so she ran into the next room to get away from them.

Rei rubs off the dirt from the impact and says "Sora you have every right to angry with me afterall i did tell you that i would be able to bring back all her memories and i failed, but hope is not yet lost"

"And why's that?" Sora was about to hit him again but shinji was still holding him back.

"First let me explain why i can't do anything else, basically the way Gaiaku's hypnotism works is that you kinda think of it as a brick wall in front of Mikuru's memories. Through my hypnotism i was able to make a crack in that wall but the reason why i can't do anything else is because Gaiaku's hypnotism has become used to the wavelength of my hypnotism so anytime i try and de-hypnotize her Gaiaku's hypnotism will just cancel mine out. But as i said hope is not yet lost because i do know another hypnotist who is a more powerful hypnotist then i am. The thing is i really despise him and there's no guarantee he'll actually help us." Rei explains.

"And who is that?" Sora asked as he calmed down a little so Shinji let him go.

"His name is Akujin and he is...mine and Gaiaku's father."says Rei.

Sora and Shinji stand there in a bit of shock till shinji takes out his smoke from his mouth and ask him. "Your father?"

"Back in those days he was a drunk and had as big of a perverted mind if not bigger as Gaiaku's. He used to beat us alot which made us runaway from home and we were basically put on death's door. For that i despise him" Rei explains.

"You sure it's a good idea to give Mikuru to him?" Shinji asked as he looked into the room Mikuru ran into.

"I'd rather not but were out of options, he's the only other person i know who could help us" says Rei

"Alright let get going." Said Shinji as he walked over to Mikuru's room.

"Wait we have to be careful though" says Rei.

"Why?" Sora asked

"Because first of all Akujin lives in the next town over, and secondly Gaiaku controls Kuro City now and he has his Peacewalkers patroling the city and they'll kill anyone who doesn't obey Gaiaku" Rei explains.

"Good point." Shinji said and he looks at Mikuru. "and if we can get by him?"

"That's were you guys come in i don't have any ideas on how to get past them, you guys are suppose to be ninjas so you should be well versed in stealth" says Rei

"We can get out easily. But.." Sora look at Mikuru. "Mikuru doesn't remember being a ninja anymore."

"Yeah that's quite a dilemma what we need is for you guys is come up with path to take that will allow even me and Mikuru to remain undetected" says Rei.

"Don't worry we will." Said Sora.

"Ok" Rei then walks over to Mikuru's room. "I'm gonna check up on Mikuru, let me know when have the route" says Rei.

"Here's my cellphone number. Just call me if you need me." Said Shinji as he was leaving the apartment building.

Mikuru was still in her bedroom feeling as if she looking for a way out or for someone when she looked at the mirror.

"You seem depressed Mikuru" Rei says to her.

"I'm okay..really." She stares at mirror feeling like she being drawn to it.

"Don't beat yourself up over this, my father should be able to bring back your memories" says Rei.

"Okay.." She said feeling she been spacing out. "Can you leave me alone for a little bit?" She asked.

"I'm afraid not, Sora wanted to watch over you but he was busy so i'm taking his place" says Rei.

She look confused again. "Huh?"

Rei then sits down next to her on her bed and says "Sora doesn't want anything else to happen to you, so he asked me to keep you company while him and Shinji work on an escape plan to safely exit the city and get to my father so he can try and bring back your memories".

"I don't care really..I feel happier like this." She said with a smile.

Rei then stands up and says "Put yourself in Sora's shoes though Mikuru, how do you think he feels, his own girlfriend doesn't remember who he is".

"I don't know" she said feeling really confused as her head start to hurt.

Suddenly the door knocks and Shinji walks in "hey we've got the route figured out" says Shinji.

"Ok"says Rei. He then turns to Mikuru, holds out his hand and says "Ready to go Mikuru, i promise you everything will become clear once were finished over there".

She nodded a yes and takes his hand out and follows him out.

After an hour and a half of cutting through alleyways they arrive at a farmhouse in the town of Heikan.

"I didn't know you lived in something like this." Shinji said taking out another smoke.

"Yeah we had a rough childhood living on this farm" says Rei before knocking on the door.

Mikuru was standing behind Rei when the door open. Sora and Shinji stayed behind and decided to wait for them to be finished.

A man with red hair and a full beard opens the door he wears a brand new suit and says" Ah Kyo it's so good to see you again!"

"Kyo?" Mikuru looks at him more confused now.

"My birth name"Rei explains "Dad you've sure changed" says Rei.

"Yes i know please come in" says Akujin.

Mikuru follows him inside and looks around. "I'm confused still is your name Rei or Kyo?"

"It's both Kyo was the name i was given at birth and Rei was the name i was given when i was adopted" says Rei.

"Yes it's been so long since i've seen you Kyo would you like some tea" says Akujin.

"No thanks what i'm more concerned about is how much you've changed" says Rei.

"Well after you and Fuzen ran away from home and i thought that both of you had died i decided i had to change my ways"says Akujin.

Mikuru was really confused now and her head start to hurt soon feeling sick to her stomach.

"Now then why don't you tell me why you've finally shown up after these years" says Akujin.

"Well basically Fuzen who calls himself Gaiaku now has taken over Kuro City through hypnotism and used hypnotism on this girl here whose name is Mikuru and erased her memories" says Rei.

Mikuru looks at him and gets uneasy feeling.

"I see well then Miss Mikuru please take a seat and we'll see what we could do" says Akujin.

Mikuru takes a seat somewhere.

Akujin then walks up to her and takes out a lighter, turns it on and holds in front of her eyes.

"Mikuru i want you to focus your attention on the flame" says Akujin in a soothing voice.

Mikuru just looks at the flame.

"Now let yourself relax deeper deeper into hypnosis then you ever have before, just relax" says Akujin.

She started to feel relax as started to take some deep breaths.

"That's right deeper and deeper more and more sleepy" says Akujin.

Mikuru's eyes start to grow heavy.

"Good now just allow yourself to go into a deep sleep and listen only to the sound of my voice" says Akujin.

Mikuru's eyes then close in a few seconds.

Akujin then puts the lighter away.

"Now then i'd like you to imagine the brick wall in your mind that's blocking your memories can you see it? says Akujin.

"....yes..." She said

"Now i want you to imagine this wall is crumbling away and as it's crumbling away your memories are being restored" says Akujin.

Mikuru starts to feel it crumbling a little as her memeories were slowly returning.

"Now then when all memories have returned you will awaken from your trance do you understand?" says Akujin.

"yes..." she said.

An hour later Mikuru slowly starts to wake up.

She opens her eyes and feels a little light headed.

"Hey Mikuru, how do you feeling? asks Rei.

"I'm okay. Thanks Rei." She said smiling.

"Ah i see your memories have returned" says Rei.

"Yeah." She said.

"Well then i'll go get Shinji and Sora then" says Rei. He then opens the door and says "Shinji, Sora you could come in now."

"Finally!" Sora walks into the building and Shinji follow behind him.

Mikuru turns when she hears them come in and the moment she sees Sora tears start to form in her eyes.

Sora hugs her tight as Mikuru hugs him back. "Sora I'm okay really." Mikuru said.

"Well it's getting pretty late you all could stay for as long as you'd like" says Akujin.

Shinji just smiled at the thought. "Thank you Akujin." Shake his hand. Sora just panicked a little." Are you sure?" Sora asked

"Yes it's no problem at all" says Akujin.

"I'm afraid i'm gonna have to pass, i have things i have to do on the road", says Rei as he gets up to leave.

"You want some help?" Shinji ask before he left.

"No it's ok, with my escort i have enough help already" says Rei. Suddenly they hear a car horn outside. "Ah there she is right now" says Rei.

"She?" Shinji asked.

"Yes, in fact, Mikuru you both have something in common" says Rei as he starts walking towards the door.

"And that is?" She asks a little unsure what he's talking about.

"Your both victims of the Kuro High School Incident" Rei says as he walked outside.

Shinji just let out his smoke and looks at the ceiling. "He's got that right." Sora and Mikuru were making themselves at home as Mikuru looked at the in mirror the room. "I know you're watching..." she says to the mirror.

Meanwhile outside Rei walks towards the car, and a girl in a hooded cloak steps out of the drivers seat,"would you like to drive or should i" she asked.

"No you drive" Rei responses.

The girl then removes her hood revealing that she's Tanya Song.

She steps back into the drivers seat, Rei then sits in the passengers side.

"How far is this place" Tanya asks.

"A couple of hours, hopefully this camp of supporters will have what i'm looking for" says Rei.

Tanya then starts the car and they drive off.

Meanwhile in a hotel room in Gaiaku's Realm, Gaiaku is sitting in a throne chair looking at a tv feed. He then turns off the tv.

"So you were able to undo my hypnosis father" says Gaiaku.

"Well it's no matter a small set back in plans means nothing, i will still cleanse this world of evil no matter what...keh keh keh heheheheh..ahahaHAHAHA....NIHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA!!!" says Gaiaku.
